Please do note that these are only approximate guidelines, and that depending on the material, these measurements may not see themselves accurately corresponding to the measurements of the actual garment, and should therewith be considered as merely indicative. 

 

Please refer to the instructions at the bottom on the measuring method to be utilized in order to get as accurate of an estimation as possible of the correct size to choose.

 

In order to get as accurate of an idea as possible of the potential fit of these garments it is recommended that one makes comparative measurements on a piece of clothing which one already owns, and finds oneself satisfied with.

 

1. Shoulder – From the back, measure the distance between the highest point of the two shoulder seams.

 

2. Chest – From the front, measure the distance between the widest points of the garment, directly underneath the seam which attaches the sleeve to the body of the garment.

 

3. Waist – From the front, measure the distance between the narrowest points of the garment, usually situated around 5-15 cm underneath the measurement effectuated for the chest.

 

4. Back Length – From the back, measure the distance between the collar seam, at the top of the body of the garment, and the hem, the bottommost edge of the body of the garment.

 

5. Sleeve Length – From the front, measure the distance between the seam at the top of the sleeve and the cuff.

 

6. Neckline – From the front, measure the circumference of the neck by following the sewn collar piece, starting at the button and ending at the buttonhole, on the other side.
